spring_dreamIt's hard to believe it's been almost three months since I last posted. Life got a little bit overwhelming. It started with finishing training and starting real work at a new job. Once I got used to my job, there was a country-wide issue that affected me emotionally. And just this past week I received some personal news that is very distressing and difficult for me to cope with.
However, there was a family birthday, so I did manage to muster up the energy and make a cake. Well, a tart really. But birthday strawberry tart is just as good as birthday cake in my book. I just love the colors. I however am not very happy with the way the edges of the crust look, but I think it's decent for a first tart.
