Hollow book

I started making a hollow book for my friend as a present. While making it I realized how much I miss creating. I've more or less stopped writing, and it's been years since I made any crafts. So I decided to use this blog to write about whatever I make, and anything else that I will feel like writing about.
I googled "how to make a hollow book" and looked at the first few sites that came up. They all had more or less the same instructions and so I just went along with the general guidelines, mainly using this site - http://how2dostuff.blogspot.co.il/2006/02/how-to-make-secret-hollow-book.html . I did find a few sites that used those same photos, so I'm not sure if this is where they were originally posted.
My main problem was that even with the aid of a ruler, my cuts were slightly different each time, so the edges are rather ragged. If I try this again then rather than each time cutting out a page or two, I'll try cutting through many layers on one side at a time, so the ruler will shift less. All in all I'm pretty pleased with how it came out.

Any comments or ideas of what I should make next?

I really enjoyed reading the 'how to' link - sounds like some raggedness is expected on the first try. What did you cut yours with? Now I'm thinking this would be fun to do also.
What should you make next? Um... how about a wind-chime? I just made one from old silverware I picked up at yard sales and it came out pretty nice. I've a bin of driftwood bits I'm thinking of using to make some kind of natural-looking dangling wind thing.

I used a box-cutter, and that worked pretty well for me.
The wind-chime sounds cool. I'd love to see a picture of it :)

And thanks for the nudge to get a picture of it - I've just posted about it, always fun to share.
